Fusion Consulting appointed Asia Pacific partner for Intelligence Plaza.

Singapore, September 21, 2007 – Fusion Consulting, a business intelligence consultancy, today announced the launch of an Internet-based Asia-Pacific market monitoring system called Intelligence Desk™ in Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai. The system was originally developed in Finland by Global Intelligence Alliance and is well-established in Europe, already being used by over 50 companies, but this is the first time it has been brought to Asia.

The Intelligence Desk™ service allows market intelligence managers and their corporate users to log on to an online Intelligence Plaza™ portal to find information when they need it. They can set up personal profiles outlining their interests, and the system will then alert them by email whenever relevant information is uploaded, and provide a link to the new item. It can also send regular updates, eg. weekly or monthly summaries of competitor news or market developments. The information classification and taxonomy are customized in line with the company’s structure and interests, such as by region/country, competitors, customer sectors, specific product/service lines, key customers and so on.
